Daud Jordan In A Period Of Building Muscle And Stamina Ahead Of Facing South Korean Boxers

JAKARTA – Indonesian boxer Daud Jordan is ready to face a duel against South Korean boxer Hwang Kil Kim. Waiting for the match, he continues to train and is in the process of building muscle and stamina.

The 34-year-old best Indonesian boxer has been making preparations since early January. He still has one month to finalize preparations before entering the ring.

"I will fight South Korean boxer Hwang Kil Kim on March 4," said Daud as quoted by Antara.

The fight between Daud and Hwang will take place at the World Siam Stadium, Bangkapi, Bangkok, Thailand.

David has a pretty tough mission to face his opponent. He must fight to defend his WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver Super Lightweight title in the 63.5 kilogram class.

In addition to the duel of Daud Jordan and Hwang Kil Kim in the second edition of the MPRO Evolution Fight Series 2022, the event also featured fights of other Indonesian boxers.

The duel in question is Ongen Saknosiwi against Thai boxer Rattakorn Tassaworn. Currently Ongen is also training with Daud Jordan in North Kayong.

"Ongen competes in the 57.1 kilogram class and fights for the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental Featherweight belt," said Daud.

Head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism (Disporapar) North Kayong Regency Tasfirani said that the North Kayong Regional Government continues to support the proud boxer from this lucky country. This support is shown through coordination and communication with Daud's management.

"Hopefully in March we can bring back the name of Indonesia, especially the name of North Kayong," hoped Tasfirani.

So far, the North Kayong Disporapar has not officially received an agenda for the fight of Daud and his friends. However, they have received verbal information that the fight will be held in March.
