PSSI Urges Asprov Whose Term Of Office Ends In January And February To Hold A Congress

JAKARTA - PSSI has instructed the Provincial Association (Asprov) under it to immediately hold a congress if their management period has almost expired.

PSSI Secretary General Yunus Nusi said there were several Asprovs who had not held a congress even though their management period ended at the beginning and end of 2022.

"There are several Asprovs that will also end in January, February and some end at the end of the year. For January and February, such as Gorontalo and Central Java. PSSI has ordered by letter to each Asprov to immediately conduct congress according to the periodization period, " said Yunus, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, January 25.

However, PSSI said that there were already several Asprovs who had carried out congresses based on the provisions of the management period.

"Most of the Asprov have carried out congresses according to their period of time, such as Jakarta, NTT, Maluku, Banten, NTB and others," said Yunus.

The man from Gorontalo also reminded Asprov who wants to hold a congress to go through a predetermined mechanism.

Yunus emphasized that Asprov must send a letter of application to the central PSSI in Jakarta.

Asprov must submit a draft statute to PSSI to undergo the approval process.

"Secondly, Asprov submits an application for congress. After the two are submitted, PSSI will approve the status. PSSI will then recommend and or approve the implementation of the congress. If the statutes and implementation have been agreed upon, then please congress," said Yunus.
