PT LIB Connects Persebaya Surabaya Management, This Is The Main Discussion

JAKARTA - PT Liga Indonesia Baru (PT LIB) held a meeting with Persebaya Surabaya management on Monday, August 31 yesterday. This meeting lasted about two hours and discussed several things, including health protocols.

In this meeting, PT LIB was represented by President Director Akhmad Hadian Lukita and Operations Director Sudjarno. This is a step by PT LIB to convince Persebaya, which has yet to agree to continue the League 1 competition which will be held in early October.

"The main discussion is actually about our concern for the health protocol that will be implemented when the league rolls out. Earlier there were several exposures that were more advanced than the previous meeting," said Persebaya Manager Candra Wahyudi.

On this occasion, Persebaya management submitted several suggestions to the high-ranking PT LIB officials. One of them is to urge the health protocol to be agreed upon and conveyed as soon as possible to the club participating in the league.

According to him, until now there has been no specific guidance from league operators regarding health protocols. He said that currently the club uses their respective health protocol standards.

"From the start, we were concerned that the protocol should be clarified and expedited to be submitted to the club, because there is no guideline on health protocols," he said.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Hadian understands the attitude of Persebaya management. Some of Persebaya's input is also deemed necessary to perfect the health protocol when the league takes place later.

"We discussed a lot with Persebaya, of course, the most important thing is about health protocols," he said.

As is known, PT LIB will hold a medical meeting to discuss in more detail the health protocol in the continuation of the League 1 competition. The meeting will involve the club, PSSI, medical team and related parties. It is not yet known when the medical meeting will be held.
