Persija Ready To Fulfill The Target Of The Big Three Of Liga 1, Sudirman: I Will Work Hard, So Will The Players

JAKARTA - Persija Sudirman coach emphasized that all players and coaching staff are ready to meet the target of completing the 2021-2022 Indonesian League 1 at least in the top three positions.

"I will work hard, as will the players because they know our target. Then we will make it happen, God willing, everything will go smoothly," Sudirman said, quoted by Antara from the Persija website, Sunday.

But he realized this target was not easy to meet and for that the 52-year-old coach promised to fight as hard as he could to achieve it.

Persija are in eighth position in the Liga 1 standings this season after collecting 29 points from 20 matches.

The Kemayoran Tigers are still 11-14 points behind from the top three, which are inhabited by Bhayangkara FC, Arema FC and Persib.

Sudirman will instruct his players to train hard both on and off the field in order to meet the target.

He also stressed the importance of increasing the happy atmosphere in the squad.

And this is the reason why he made a rafting activity that Marko Simic and his friends participated in last Thursday in Bali.

"If we push too hard and focus on over-emphasizing training, it's not too good for the players because players also need a 'happy' atmosphere in every practice so that they can accept what we are going to give them," concluded Sudirman.
