Sad News, Indonesian Billiards Athlete Dies Due To Heart Attack

JAKARTA - Sad news came from the Indonesian billiards sport. One of the best athletes Oei Kiem Han died of a heart attack.

Kiem Han died at the age of 39 on Friday, January 21. This sad news was first conveyed by the Deputy Chairperson of the All-Indonesian Billiards Sports Association (POBSI) Bali Provincial Management Welly Soedarno.

"My deepest condolences on the passing of one of our best athletes, brother Oei Kiem Han, may his soul be accepted by his side and all his sins are forgiven," said Welly, quoted on the official PB POBSI website.

The Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) Marciano Norman also felt lost. He expressed his condolences for the passing of Kiem Han.

"As Chairman of the Central KONI and representing the Indonesian sports community, I express my condolences for the death of Oei Kiem Han," said Marciano Norman in a press release received by VOI.

"Goodbye Indonesian Sports Patriots. We will always remember your achievements. Your loyalty to the province, we appreciate. Hopefully your figure continues to inspire the birth of great billiard athletes who will make Indonesia proud on the international stage," continued Marciano.

Oei Kiem Han is an accomplished billiard athlete. He last made a satisfying achievement at the XX National Sports Week (PON) 2021 in Papua.

In this sporting event, the athlete who was born on November 23, 1972, won a bronze medal in the Six Red number. Oei Kiem Han has been a Balinese athlete for a long time since 2014.
