FK Senica Boss Calls Egy Maulana An Important Player

JAKARTA - Clarity about the future of Egy Maulana Vikri at FK Senica finally found a bright spot after the player officially signed a contract extension last Thursday.

After the contract extension, FK Senica director David Balda said he was happy and called Egy an important part of the club nicknamed Zahoraci.

"We are very happy that Egy extended his contract with us. He is an important player with great mentality, potential and skills. He will definitely help us to achieve the team's goals," said Balda via the club's Facebook.

FK Senica himself said he was satisfied with the player's performance in his first six months of his contract. Because, at the beginning of his tenure, Egy managed to score 2 goals and 4 assists in 15 matches.

In his latest contract agreement, the Indonesian national team player has the opportunity to contribute to the team until June 2023. In addition, the agreement also states that FK Senica has the option of extending Egy's tenure for two years.

Egy is not the only Indonesian footballer who wears FK Senica costume. Recently, the Slovak club has also signed winger Witan Sualeman on loan from Lecia Gdansk.
