Samir Handanovic Says About Inter Vs Atalanta Draw: It's Never Easy To Face La Dea

JAKARTA - Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic said his team's draw with Atalanta in Week 22 of the Italian League was a decent result because the match against La Dea was never easy.

Quoted from Antara from football-italy, Monday, Samir Handanovic said Inter Milan had spent a lot of energy when they won over Juventus in the Italian Super Cup, and now they have received a point from Atalanta and are preparing for the next match.

"It's a good draw, based on how the game went. We can win and we can lose. It's a fair result, it's never easy against Atalanta," said Handanovic.

"We've used a lot of energy in the Supercoppa on Wednesday with extra time, so we take this one point and prepare for the next test."

Currently Inter's position at the top of the Italian League standings with 50 points from 21 matches, is threatened if their closest competitor, AC Milan can win over Spezia on Monday night local time.

Even so, Handanovic admitted that he was not worried because there were still many matches to be passed and there was still a long way to go in determining the Italian League champions.

According to the Slovenian goalkeeper, there is no pressure because of this draw and nothing has been decided so far. Handanovic explained Inter always want to win, if that can't be achieved, they will try to get a draw.

"There's a lot of games to go, we have one game in hand as well, so it's still a long way to go. There's no pressure, nothing's decided so far. We wanted to win and when we couldn't win, we trying to draw," said Handanovic.
