JAKARTA - Manchester City midfielder Ferran Torres has arrived in Barcelona to undergo a medical this morning. Torres' transfer agreement to Barca is complete and will be announced in the next few hours.
Previously, Torres trained in Valencia in the midst of strong news that he was one step away from joining Barcelona.
The 21-year-old talent shared a video recovering his fitness, after suffering a leg injury since mid-October, on his personal Instagram account, @ferrantorres, on Monday morning Indonesian Western Time (WIB).
"Getting ready at home... Valencia," said Torres in his post, quoted by Antara, Monday.
According to the columnist for the Spanish sports daily Sport, Toni Juanmarti, Torres is aiming to make his Barca debut in the last 32 of the Copa del Rey against Linares on January 5, 2022, or the La Liga match against Granada three days later.
According to recent reports in European media, Barca and City have reached an agreement for Torres' transfer fee of 55 million euros (around IDR 883 billion) along with an additional option of 10 million euros (around IDR 160.6 billion).

Torres is a Valencia Academy graduate who made his senior debut at the age of 17 in the Copa del Rey match against Real Zaragoza on 30 November 2017, before helping the club win the same competition in 2018/19.
He was then brought in by City from Valencia in the summer of 2020 for a reported transfer value of 23 million euros (around IDR 369.4 billion).
