JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will meet Laos in the second match of Group B of the 2020 AFF Cup. Ahead of the match which will take place on Sunday, Ezra Walian revealed a promise to the national team.
The striker promised to work hard to help the national team bring home victory. The promise was conveyed by Ezra through his personal Instagram account @ezrawalian.
The player of Dutch descent revealed the promise after helping the national team to a 4-2 victory over Cambodia in their inaugural match.
"WE GARUDA! Last night we played the first match of the AFF Cup, filled with a 4-2 victory. The next match we will try even harder," wrote Ezra in the photo caption.
In the match against Cambodia, Ezra was not able to record his name on the scoreboard. But he showed his seriousness by appearing adamant throughout the game and had some good chances to find the net.
