JAKARTA - The League 2 competition will continue on 17 October. However, the system no longer uses the zone zone as before.

PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) will use a home tournament system with a single robin. President Director of PT LIB, Akhmad Hadian Lukita said, there were already nine clubs that had proposed to host.

"It is possible that we will draw it into four cities. Then we will draw the clubs whichever city it is," said Akhmad Hadian to VOI, Thursday, August 13.

"Another possibility, namely the host who is ready to finance the competition in the city we will choose," he added.

He revealed, of the nine clubs that proposed to host, among them were Persiba Balikpapan, PSPS Pekanbaru, and Badak Lampung.

However, Akhmad said, everything was still a possibility because it had not been officially decided. This is still being discussed by PT LIB with the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).

PT LIB itself has held a manager meeting on Tuesday. During the meeting, the club agreed on a new system created by the league operator. However, there are still questions.

"They asked, what if they were chosen as the host and so on," said Akhmad Hadian.
