Satisfied With The Performance Of The National Team, Shin Tae-yong Reveals Two Aspects That The Team Needs To Improve

JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, said he was happy with the development of his team, who continued to win in the trial matches. Even so, Shin Tae-yong said there were still two things the team needed to improve.

The Indonesian national team successfully won in the latest test match in Turkey. Facing Antalyaspor, the Garuda squad won 4-0.

The result clearly made Shin Tae-yong happy. Because, from several series of trials the national team has always recorded a victory.

"Happy and satisfied with the result of a landslide victory against Antalyaspor, but the content of the match is still lacking," said Shin Tae-yong, quoted from an official statement received by VOI.

In a test match at the Limax Sport Complex, Turkey on Sunday, November 28, the national team scored goals through Ricky Kambuaya, Witan Sulaeman, Ezra Walian and Evan Dimas.

Despite winning, the coach still evaluates the team. According to Shin Tae-yong, there are two aspects that his foster children must continue to improve, namely mentality and maintaining the spirit of winning.

"In this match we also have an evaluation record for the players. We have to improve mentally and continue to maintain the spirit of the players," he said.

"What is clear is that during the training camp in Turkey the players have shown good development and continue to improve," said Shin Tae-yong.

This test match against Antalyaspor became the agenda for the last test of the national team in Turkey. Because, in early December they will fly to Singapore to take part in the 2020 AFF Cup.
