Safe! Marcus/Kevin Win The Indonesia Open 2021 Title From The Japanese Representative

JAKARTA - A proud result was achieved by the men's doubles from the representatives of Indonesia, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevi Sanjaya in the 2021 Indonesia Open tournament. Both of them won the championship title from the representatives of Japan, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi.

Marcus/Kevin won the victory after winning in the final round which took place at the Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua. In the final battle, Marcus/Kevin won in two games with a final score of 21-14, 21-18.

In addition to being the winner in the final round of the Indonesia Open 2021, this slick result is also a sweet revenge for Marcus / Kevin. Because, in the previous event, namely the 2021 Indonesia Masters, they were defeated by Hoki/Kobayashi in the final round.

Successfully avenging defeat with sweet results, Marcus / Kevin revealed the key to victory in the final of the Indonesia Open 2021.

"Long time no see. During this pandemic we didn't meet, but they changed a lot. From yesterday's error, we evaluate and improve how the game looks like," Marcus added.

In line with his duet partner in the field, Kevin also said that the opponent's pattern can be easily read. The reason is, their appearance is still the same as in the final of the Indonesia Masters 2021.

"First of all, I am very grateful to God that I was able to get through this day well and run smoothly," said Kevin.
