JAKARTA - Reykat Fadilla made a pretty good achievement in the Asia Talent Cup (ATC) competition which took place at the Mandalika Circuit, NTB. The results he achieved were quite slick, considering that Reykat still holds the status of a rookie or young racer.

In the first race which took place on Friday, November 19, Reykat who represented the Astra Honda Racing Team (AHRT) successfully won the top five positions. This result is clearly something to be proud of for Indonesia, especially for the city of Depok, where Reykat is from.

Reykat, who is currently 13 years old, is indeed a racer from Depok City. Before successfully making Indonesia and its city proud as a racer who performed at ATC, Raykat was also known as an outstanding student.

Studying at SMPIT Ruhama, Cilangkap, Reykat is also considered an outstanding student. At school he became one of the students who was able to memorize eight juz of the Koran.

The achievement is directly proportional to the speed of the motorbike on the track. It was proven that during the third race which took place on Sunday, November 21, he again listed his name in the top 10 rankings and took 8th position.

Reykat's participation in the 2021 ATC event is his debut appearance in an international racing event. Even though it was the first time trying out the Mandalika Circuit, Reykat was successful in presenting achievements and showing a very competitive performance in his inaugural race as a wildcard in the closing series of ATC 2021.

When performing at Mandalika, Reykat also made his first Honda NSF250 on the 4.3 km track. However, he can prove his performance is better than his seniors.

For Reykat's achievement in Mandalika, Deputy Mayor of Depok, Imam Budi Hartono said he was proud of the Depok residents who became representatives of Indonesia at the 2021 ATC event, especially when Reykat was still young.

"It is an honor to be invited to see the Mandalika Circuit, an international World super bike event, especially when there is a young, talented Indonesian Depok Rider, Reykat Fadillah as a racer in the 2021 Asia Talent Cup," said Imam Budi Hartono as quoted by Antara, Monday.
