JAKARTA - The East Java Disciplinary Commission (Komdis) has sentenced the perpetrator of attempted bribery in League 3, Dimas Yopi Perwira. Komdis East Java imposed a penalty in the form of a fine and a ban on activities in the sphere of football.

"We have conducted a trial accompanied by evidence, recorded conversations, and recorded chats," said Samiadji Makin Rahmat, Chairman of the East Java PSSI Komdis from a release received by VOI, Saturday, November 20.

In the trial, Dimas as a resident of Surabaya was proven to have attempted bribery in the match between NZR Sumbersari and Gresik Putra on 12 November. In that match, Dimas gave the lure of Rp70 million-Rp100 million for Gresik Putra to give in to NZR Sumbersari.

Dimas' action was carried out on the basis of orders from David from Jakarta and Billy from Bali, where it was carried out for the purposes of online soccer betting.

Dimas' actions violated Article 64 paragraph 1 of the PSSI Disciplinary Code, the East Java Komdis imposed a penalty of Rp. 100 million. In addition, Dimas was also sentenced to a ten-year ban on football activities. As for David and Billy, because they are not part of football, the East Java Komdis cannot be ensnared by a disciplinary code. Therefore, to follow up the two names, Komdis handed them over to the police.

Apart from Dimas, the East Java Komdis also punished two Gresik Putra players, namely Andy Cahya and Hendra Putra Satria. There is also a Gresik Putra kitman, Desly Galang Ramadani, who is also being punished.

The three were found guilty of attempted infringement, they were contacted by a person who claimed to be named Anshori to give in when facing Persema Malang.

They were sentenced to a probationary ban on football for 12 months, with a probationary period of 24 months. Meanwhile, Ferry Afrianto, who is called a former Persela player, was sentenced to a five-year ban from playing football and a fine of 50 million.
