WSBK Mandalika Spectators Are Prohibited From Bringing Umbrellas

PRAYA - The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) stated that spectators of the World Superbike event at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara are prohibited from bringing an umbrella while watching the race.

"Spectators are not allowed to bring umbrellas, dangerous objects, drones, glass containers, selfie sticks, or other metal objects," said MGPA President Director Ricky Baheramsjah in a written statement quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 17.

Spectators are also expected not to bring flammable objects or liquids, backpacks or large bags, lasers, alcoholic beverages, flag posters or banners, trumpets, and food and drinks from outside.

"If the audience needs food or drink, they can buy it at the food and beverages provider booths that are available near each grand stand," he said.

Ricky also said viewers were also not allowed to do "filming" or take videos, including "live video", from all over the circuit area and race track, using professional cameras or smartphones.

"This regulation must be obeyed by the audience as a condition for watching the World Superbike event at the Mandalika Circuit so that the audience can enjoy the race safely and comfortably," he said.

All of these terms and conditions are submitted for the safety and comfort of the audience in watching the race.

MGPA also urges the audience to bring only essential items and not to carry things in excess, because they do not provide a place to store goods and they are not responsible for the safety of items that cannot be brought into the circuit area.

"Hopefully the audience can follow all the regulations that we have set so that the race can run smoothly as well as show the world that we are good hosts and are able to organize international-class motorcycle racing events," he said.

Other regulations that must be obeyed by spectators when watching the World Superbike event, they must have a ticket, spectators aged 12 years and over, have received the COVID-19 vaccine twice, show the results of the antigen swab test (1x24 hours)/PCR (3x24 hours) negative for COVID -19 through the PeduliLindung application, as well as scanning the QR Code when entering the Circuit area.

"If the viewer has not registered with the PeduliLindung application, they are required to show the results of the antigen/PCR 'swab' (swab) test from the hospital/clinic as well as a vaccine certificate with the procedure sent to the registered email," he said.
