Sandy Walsh And Jordi Are Eager To Join The National Team, This Is The Answer From The PSSI Chairman

JAKARTA - Indonesian football lovers have recently been excited by Jordi Amat's statement that he wants to join the Indonesian national team. Before Jordi, Sandy Walsh had also made a similar statement.

Regarding the statement of two foreign players who intend to join the Indonesian national team, Mochamad Iriawan has his own answer. The PSSI general chairman said it all depends on the coach.

Iwan Bule - his nickname - gave full rights to Shin Tae-yong to determine foreign players.

"I said, all players are the right of the coach to look for. There are no players that he didn't ask for. So, I did give freedom to Shin. He proposed that, of course we will explore and study. Can he enter us or not, " said the chairman of PSSI met at the release of the national team at the Sultan Hotel, Thursday night.

In line with Iwan Bule's statement, Shin Tae-tong himself had said that he did not rule out the possibility that he would include the names of foreign players in his Garuda squad.

Realizing Shin Tae-yong's desire regarding the recruitment of foreign players in the national team, Iwan Bule admitted that he was ready to accommodate according to the bureaucracy and regulations based on FIFA rules.

"What is clear is what (Shin Tae-Yong) said, we have to accommodate. This is a good player, okay, we'll just contact him later. Are there descendants? Do you want to play here? Have you played in the national team there or not? " he said.

"But, if the new FIFA rules say they can, then we will accommodate what the coach wants as long as the regulations can be arranged," added Iwan Bule.

Furthermore, Iwan explained, it was not only Walsh and Amat who were considered.

"I saw there were four. I haven't really read it because I'm concentrating here, but we'll look into it later. I asked the agent there to ask, we have to make sure it's Sandy Walsh or not," he explained.

To prove the seriousness of PSSI, Iwan Bule also explained that his party would coordinate with the government regarding this matter. Because, he realized that the process was long.

"The process is quite long, yes. However, we will report to the government asking for an accelerated dispensation for them to become national team players. We are moving to ask the government so that they can support our team as soon as possible," he concluded.
