Persija Jakarta Can Only Draw With Barito Putera 1-1

JAKARTA - The Persija Jakarta team drew 1-1 against Barito Putera. Jakmania's favorite team faced Barito Putera in the 11th match at the Moch Stadium. Soebroto, Magelang, Friday, November 5th.

In the match led by referee Dwi Purba Adi Wicaksana, the Barito Putra team under coach Djadjang Nurdjaman took the lead through a goal from forward Aleksandar Rakic.

Since the beginning of the match, both teams tried to play fast and Persija team actually had the opportunity to score first but did not finish well.

Quoted from ANTARA, in the 14th minute Barito's players actually broke into the Persija goal which was guarded by Andritany Ardhiyasa through Rakic's feet after using Rafael Oliveira's pass.

After missing one goal, Angelo Alessio's team continued to try to suppress the Barito Putera defense.

The Persija team's struggle finally led to a goal by equalizing 1-1 through Marko Simic's header in the 25th minute. Simic managed to break into the goal guarded by Adhitya Harlan after taking advantage of Rico Simanjuntak's free kick. The 1-1 position lasted until halftime.
