JAKARTA - The inaugural match of Group D Liga 3 2021 was marked by a terrible incident because there was an incident of a player stepping on the opponent's neck. PPSM Sakti Magelang player, Santino Berti, who was the victim, had to be rushed to the hospital.

The news of the violence in the field occurred when PPSM Sakti Magelang faced Persak Kebumen. Meeting at the Moch Soebroto Stadium, Magelang, Monday, November 1 afternoon, one PPSM Sakti Magelang player became a victim.

Judging by the VOI team from the @Magelangfootball Twitter account upload, the incident began when Persak Kebumen managed to score the second goal in the 75th minute through Erlangga Adhyaksa's kick. After that moment, one of the Persak Kebumen players, Tri Hartanto, ran to catch a wild ball.

However, in front of him was the PPSM Sakti Magelang player, Santino Berti who was already in a falling position because he was trying to block the ball. Instead of stepping aside, Tri Hartanto seemed to put his foot on Santino Berti's neck and made the PPSM player lie on the field.

Terrible again, the incident occurred in front of the referee's eyes. However, the referee just gave a yellow card instead of a red card.

After the incident, the referee had a brief discussion on the sidelines, before finally returning to the middle of the field and blowing the long whistle signaling the end of the match.

Persak Kebumen was then declared the winner with a score of 2-0 thanks to goals from Dzulqaida Rofid (11') and Erlangga Adhyaksa (75').

Until now, the latest condition of Santino Berti who was injured is not known.
