22 U-19 National Team Players Go To The Toulon Tournament, Including Ronaldo Kwateh

JAKARTA - PSSI has announced 22 U-19 national team (Timnas) players who will go to the 2022 Toulon Tournament, France, one of which is Ronaldo Kwateh, a 17-year-old figure who helped bring Indonesia to win bronze at the 2021 SEA Games.

Quoted from the PSSI page in Jakarta, Thursday, May 26, apart from Ronaldo, other names on the list were those who had attended the U-19 national team training camp (TC) in South Korea, namely Kadek Arel Priyatna, Alfriyanto Nico, Erlangga Setyo, Marcell Januar, Cahya Supriadi, Subhan Fajri and Muhammad Ferrari.

“Good luck in the Toulon Tournament, my children. Give the best for the nation," said PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan, as reported by Antara.

According to Iriawan, based on the report of the U-19 national team coach to him, the performance of the U-19 national team continues to improve.

The man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule also hopes that "Garuda Nusantara" can show maximum performance in France.

The 2022 Toulon Tournament will take place from 29 May-12 June 2022 in France. In the tournament for U-17 to U-23 players, Indonesia is in Group B with Mexico, Ghana and Venezuela.

The Toulon tournament is also one of the preparations for the U-19 national team for the U-20 World Cup in 2023.
