Tokyo Auto Salon 2026: Modellista Showcases New Concept Minivan with Futuristic Touch

JAKARTA - The Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 stage is the stage of Modellista, an official accessories and tuning brand for Toyota vehicles to showcase a series of interesting modifications. The new Modellista released one teaser image showing two models with sharp lighting arrangements.

Quoted from the Carscoops website, Tuesday, December 30, judged based on the roof line, engine hood profile, and daytime running lights that can be seen, most likely this unnamed model takes the base from the latest Toyota Alphard.

"MODELLISTA has accepted a new challenge to meet the demands of our customers to be "more" in an era of increasingly diverse values," the company wrote on its official page.

Visually, the car has a notched front, a more angular splitter, and side skirts that may be equipped with integrated lighting, although these details are still unconfirmed.

In fact, Modellista already offers a complete styling package for the latest Alphard and its sibling, the Vellfire, this could mark the start of a more ambitious level of customization.

Not only the mysterious silhouette, Modellista plans to launch a "prototype model" that is expected to enter the market soon. This model seems to be based on the Lexus RX SUV and uses a body kit shaped by the brand's "Geometrical organic" design language.

Both the Toyota minivan concept car and the SUV prototype will be officially introduced during the Modellista press event at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on January 9.
