Hyundai Ready To Restart I30 N In Europe Using Hybrid Machines And Launches Next Year

Hyundai took several strategic steps for the European market, after stopping production of i30 N by 2024 and focusing on electric car lines, now the South Korean brand is choosing another step.

According to an Autocar India report, quoted on Wednesday, December 10, i30 N is scheduled to return to Europe with an ICE engine or embedded with hybrid technology.

Although the new i30 N technical specifications have not been revealed, this upcoming model is likely to be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo-gasoline hybrid engine powered by 140 hp refined from the standard i30 to produce better performance.

Previously, Hyundai's N division had revealed that the company plans to develop machines that meet market performance requirements and mass-produce them without problems.

"We are not restricting ourselves to EVs," said Hyundai N Boss, Joon Woo Park.

All of this shows the introduction of a new ICE-powered sports car with high production volume, and it could be i30 N or other mysterious models prepared.

However, if it is true for the latest i30 engine as a substitute for existing units, it is likely to be present soon. Predicted, the model will be present in 2026 or the first half of 2027.

Of course, it is worth waiting for the breakthrough of this sloping H-logo manufacturer to continue to exist in the European market with the car line-up offered.
