Daihatsu Handover Rocky Hybrid At GJAW 2025

Daihatsu made the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week event to hand over the first 3 units of Rocky Hybrid to consumers, as well as the initial journey of the environmentally friendly car which launched at GIIAS 2025.

Marketing and Corporate Communication Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Sri Agung Handayani, revealed that the presence of Rocky Hybrid in Indonesia is one of Daihatsu's efforts towards the commitment of Carbon Neutral. This car with e-Smart Hybrid technology is fully powered by electric motors.

"We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all customers who have patiently waited, now is the time for us to give our best through handover to Daihatsu's best friend represented by the first 3 Rocky Hybrid customers who have been waiting for this car since the beginning of the booking," he said, during a press conference at ICE BSD, Friday, November 21.

Daihatsu displays a total of 6 units of display and 1 unit of Technology Exhibit. The 6 units of display consist of 3 units of Rocky Hybrid, two of which are Dress Up model themed urban lifestyle, 1 unit of Terios Dress Up Alto Style as a means of inspiration for modification with different styles, 2 units of gactification in the form of Sigra and Gran Max which were converted into a religious car as a means of entertainment for visitors, as well as 1 unit of Technology Exhibit as a means of education for visitors to see Daihatsu Rocky e-Smart Hybrid technology directly.

This Japanese brand also presents a special sales program. For visitors who order Rocky Hybrid at the GJAW event, they will get benefits in the form of periodic care packages for free according to a service book of up to 40,000 KM or 2 years, which one was achieved earlier.

Back to Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid, this car carries an e-Smart Hybrid technology that gives the sensation of driving in the style of an electric car with a gasoline engine that functions as a generator to charge the battery, so this car is very practical without the need for charging or charging electricity.

Regarding the heart of the runway, equipped with a 1.2L WA-VEX engine, the Hybrid battery of 177.6 volts is capable of producing a power of 0.74 kWh which is equivalent to a Hybrid car in the Medium SUV class.

This car also uses Transaxle hybrid special transmission which can produce a maximum of 106 PS and a maximum torque of up to 170 Nm, making Rocky Hybrid one of the largest torque cars in its class.

In terms of safety, Rocky Hybrid is equipped with the Advanced Safety feature, such as 6 SRS Airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), HSA (Hill Start Assist), Blind Spot Mirror, as well as the ISOFIX feature. Rocky Hybrid also has 8 ASA functions (Advanced Safety Assist).
