JAKARTA - Wuling Indonesia secretly registered the Exion brand with the Intellectual Property Database (PDKI) of the Indonesian Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Ministry of Law.

The model is predicted to be Almaz Darion, which was a hot topic of conversation, an SUV as the successor to the Almaz model that has been marketed in Indonesia.

Responding to the above, Wuling Motors Indonesia Senior Brand Communication Manager Brian Gomgom, did not explain the details, it's just that he said that currently Wuling is still focused on working on the MPV PHEV market through the Darion model.

"It's still not yet, but the first we see in the PHEV market there is no family car segment yet. So, we present PHEV Si Cortez Darion as the first PHEV MPV in Indonesia," he said, when met in the Gilimanuk area, Bali, Monday, November 17.

Indeed, Darion is the first MPV in Indonesia to be pinned by PHEV, this car is claimed to be able to cover a cumulative distance ranging from gasoline engines and batteries of more than 1,000 km. In fact, this car is quite in demand by bookings reaching 1,300 km.

"Not yet, we are still focused on the MPV. Because we see the MPV market share is big, at 30 percent," he added.

This car is predicted to pack pure electric engines and also available PHEV versions. Yes, quite interesting especially since some Chinese brands are already leading to that segment.

Of course, it is worth waiting for the presence of the latest model from Wuling, which, of course, if it is true, will enliven the SUV segment which is also quite popular in Indonesia.
