JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has again taken an important role in the 'Young Fighters of Road Safety Indonesia' program, an initiative initiated by Indonesia Road Safety Partnership (IRSP) with the Ministry of Transportation.
The driving safety education program for students took place on November 5'13, 2025 and was held in three locations: Yogyakarta, Bali, and Cikarang, West Java. Entering the fourth year since it was first introduced in 2021, this program involved 125 selected students.
Starting from the Land Transportation College (STTD), Road Transportation Safety Polytechnic (PKTJ), Bali Land Transportation Polytechnic, Trisakti Institute of Transportation and Logistics, and Gadjah Mada University.
All participants are not only equipped with a basic driving skills, but also an understanding of road safety with a closer approach to youth communication styles.
In briefing the practice of safety riding, young fighters were trained by a certified Honda safety riding instructor. Training in Bali was given to 25 participants and held in the Bali Police Area.
In Yogyakarta, briefing for 25 participants took place at the Astra Motor Safety Riding Center of Yogyakarta. While the rest, as many as 75 participants, underwent training at AHM Safety Riding Park (SRP), Deltamas, Cikarang.
In addition to technical skills, participants also get material regarding effective communication and the use of social media for driving safety campaigns. Each student is expected to be able to become an inspirational figure.
General Manager of Marketing Planning and Analysis AHM, Andy Wijaya, emphasized the importance of the role of the younger generation in continuing a safe culture on the road. Of course, everything is done with an approach that can be quickly accepted by young people.

AHM continues to show consistency in providing driving safety education. Throughout 2025, the company noted that it had educated 1,070,814 participants through 6,926 activities in various parts of Indonesia. This education is divided into two categories of beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, for the adult category, ranging from students to company employees, education reaches 874,264 participants through 3,666 activities. The materials provided include the introduction of potential hazards, driving skills, to the safety of electric motorcycles.
