Chery Confirms Ready To Build Independent Factory In Indonesia This Year

Chery further established itself in working on the national automotive market, by not only selling many superior products but planning to build an independent factory.

This assurance was revealed by the President Director of PT Chery Sales Indonesia Zeng Shou. He said that Chery has a plan this year to start building an independent factory.

"We plan to start this year (making an independent factory)," he said, when met in Jakarta, Monday, November 3.

As is known, currently Chery is still riding at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) factory, when he has built a factory (independent) he still uses the previous facility (Handal).

"We will see the future, we will continue to be equally reliable," he said.

Chery's contribution at Handal is considered quite high. Director of Sales of PT CSI Budi Darmawan, said that collaborating with Handal for Chery provided added value for the Indonesian government, as well as contributions to the government as well.

"Our contribution to Handal is very large, 3,000 units per month," said Budi, some time ago.

As is known, currently the Chery Group has various brands, ranging from Omoda Jaecoo, Lepas, Chery itself to Jetour. Many car models were born from various brands above, and their direction was to carbon neutral with pure electric vehicle models to PHEV.
