He further said that the car units handed over to consumers were local production, with the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) as determined by the government.

"This vehicle is 100 percent produced by CKD in West Java, precisely in Cikampek, and already has standards from local content (TKDN) that have been determined by the government," he added.

Aion UT was first introduced in Indonesia through the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in July 2025. This model is present in two variants.

For the standard variant with a distance of up to 400 km (NEDC), it sells for IDR 325 million, while the premium type with a distance of 500 km (NEDC) is sold for IDR 365 million. Both are prices on the road (OTR) Jakarta.
