Toyota Promises Surprise At GJAW 2025, There Will Be Global Debut

JAKARTA The 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) exhibition will again be held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang starting November 21. Interestingly, there will be many new things, including the world's inaugural launch from Toyota.

Head of Public Relations of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) Philardi Sobari, revealed that the company will try something at the GJAW exhibition.

"The first is launching of two of our previous reviews. We will start selling at GJAW," he said, during a press conference, in Senayan, Thursday, October 23.

He further said that there was a world premiere, one of which was the HEV vehicle which would later be produced locally in the country.

"We have a world premiere. Maybe this is one (HEV), featuring one of the locally produced HEV vehicles, and a local developer," he added.

According to him, the model in question is Indonesian products, from Indonesia for the Indonesian people. Unfortunately, he did not mention the details of the model in question.

"So this is an Indonesian product, from Indonesia for the people of Indonesia. This may be what we have been waiting for," he explained.

It is very likely that bZ4X, which has been produced locally, was introduced by the GIIAS exhibition, there is another model, namely Urban Cruiser, which does share a platform with Suzuki e-Vitara. For HEV predicted, namely Avanza or Veloz. Of course it is worth waiting for a breakthrough from Toyota.
