Jaecool Will Give A Surprise At GJAW 2025, Launch Of New Products?

JAKARTA - Jaecool Indonesia will certainly take part in the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week exhibition which will take place in November 2025. Interestingly, this brand from China will give a surprise.

This was revealed by Jaecool Indonesia's Head of Marketing Ilham Pratama. Unfortunately, he did not explain in more detail what surprise Jaecoo would present at the event.

"We will come and have a surprise (in GJAW). Jaecoo will be present for the first time," he said, when met in the Tangerang area some time ago.

The man who is familiarly called Ilham said that later Jaecoo would bring the best line up at the exhibition, including the New Energy Vehicle (NEV).

It is predicted that the model that will be launched is Jaecool J5 EV, which is the first electric car from this premium Chery sub brand. Previously this car could already be ordered and the preebooking price was Rp300-350 million.

Reflecting on his latest product, J8 SHS Ardis, Jaecool lowered his official price from pre-boooking. The official price touched IDR 818 million, while for prebooking it was IDR 850 million.

The VOI team tried this car during a visit to China last April, at first glance, the driving experience was quite promising, the energy was instant, adult handling, the suspension was also relatively comfortable.

For specifications, this electric car (J5 EV) is equipped with a 67 kW electric motor with a peak power reaching 155 kW or 207 dk. The peak torque touched 288 Nm, which made the acceleration 0-100 km/hour achievable within 7.7 seconds. The speed of this electric motor rotation reaches 18,000 rpm.

This car is equipped with a 60.9 kWh capacity battery capable of traveling up to 400 kilometers in WLTC testing, or 470 km based on Thailand's NEDC standard. Interestingly, it is also equipped with fast charging or DC capabilities from 30 percent to 80 percent, which takes 27 minutes.

So, there will be a new breakthrough from Jaecoo at the 2025 GJAW event and worth the wait.
