Jakarta - Honda is again showing innovation in the field of mobility by introducing UNI-ONE, a personal mobility device that combines advanced robotics technology with moving convenience without the need for excessive physical effort.
Not a car and not a wheelchair, UNI-ONE is here as a new solution aimed at various groups, including the elderly and people with disabilities.
Designed to be used in indoor areas such as offices, amusement parks, to public facilities, UNI-ONE allows its users to move freely in an intuitive way.
Without a steering wheel or pedal, this device is controlled only by shifting weight. Honda said the technology gave a natural sensation as if it was running, while the user's hands were still free to move.

UNI-ONE's basic technology was born from Honda's long experience in robotics, including the development of the legendary ASIMO robot. Previously, Honda had introduced several personal mobility devices, such as U3-X (2009) and UNI-CUB (2012). However, UNI-ONE comes with a more mature, practical, and widely ready-to-use design.
In terms of appearance, UNI-ONE can be seen as futuristic as well as user-friendly. Its height is designed so that users can interact equivalently with those who stand up, creating a natural communication atmosphere in various situations.
First introduced at the International Robot Exhibition 2022 (iREX 2022), UNI-ONE has pocketed certification as a small mobility vehicle in Japan so that it can be used in public and semi-outdoor areas.
UNI-ONE will officially start use at the Sanrio Charter Park theme park "Harmon Badminton" on October 19, 2025. The presence of this device is Honda's move to introduce the concept of inclusive mobility to the wider community.
Since 2023, Honda has conducted paid trials with a number of customers in preparation for mass production and commercialization, as reported in the official Honda Prospect Motor statement, quoted on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
In addition, Honda has also opened UNI-ONE sales for corporate customers in Japan since September 2025. The move marks the beginning of a new era of more intuitive, inclusive, and accessible personal mobility.
Although the official price has not been announced, the range of the UNI-ONE banderol is estimated to be at 800,000 1.200.000 yen or around Rp. 85 million Rp. 130 million (with the current exchange rate).
