GWM Records Record Sales Since Entering Indonesia, The Consumer's 300 Diesel Turbo Tank SUV

JAKARTA - A Chinese manufacturer from Great Wall Motor (GWM) has recorded the highest sales since its presence on the Indonesian automotive market. This refers to data in August.

From the data received, GWM recorded 241 units of whole sales, an increase of 316 percent from last year. Meanwhile, retail sales units 210 units or grew 218 percent year-on-year.

From January to August 2025, the records of GWM sellers reached 792 units of Whole Sales and 671 units of Retail Sales, which almost matched the performance of GWM throughout April "December 2024, namely 796 units of WS and 675 units of Retail.

GWM Indonesia CEO Bagus Susanto, said that despite the various challenges, the company is happy to have built strong momentum in the Indonesian automotive market.

The success of Ora 03 electric cars and Tank 300 SUVs shows a positive response from consumers in Indonesia. GIIAS 2025 is a momentum

This achievement is a continuation of the success of GWM during the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on July 24 to August 3, 2025, where GWM posted 578 orders or grew 225 percent compared to the same exhibition the previous year.

The two latest models, the 300 Diesel Turbo Tank SUV and the ORA 03 Electric Car, are the main contributors to the order.

Similar momentum continued at GIIAS Surabaya 2025 on 27'31 August 2025, where GWM recorded dozens of additional orders dominated by the 300 Diesel Turbo Tank SUV, ORA 03 Electric Car, and Haval Jolion Hybrid.
