Tangguh SUV Is Increasingly Interested, BAIC BJ30 Hybrid Steals Consumer Attention At GIIAS 2025

JAKARTA - BAIC Indonesia made a positive achievement at GIIAS 2025. During the exhibition, BAIC recorded a total sales of 278 vehicle units, reflecting the increasingly high consumer response to BAIC's presence in the national automotive market.

Newcomer BJ30 Hybrid who is also the first BJ30 model with the world's Right Hand Drive, scored the most sales with a total of 136 units, or almost 50 percent of BAIC's total sales during GIIAS 2025.

No less interesting, the BJ40 Plus model, which was first introduced in Indonesia at GIIAS 2024, also managed to double its sales compared to the previous year, with 128 units incision during the GIIAS 2025 exhibition.

This shows the stronger consumer confidence and knowledge of this superior product of BAIC Indonesia. This achievement also emphasizes the position of BJ40 Plus as a reliable offroad premium SUV in all terrains.

BAIC Indonesia Chief Operating Officer Dhani Yahya, said to answer the increasingly dynamic market needs, BAIC Indonesia plans to continue providing product line-up for Indonesia.

"Including the BJ30 ICE 7-SEAter with 1.5L Turbo engines, 2 electric SUV models, one electric crossover, the Mid-size electric SUV Arcfox T1 & T5 which is planned to arrive in early 2026, then the BJ40 Pro PHEV, BJ80 in the 4th quarter of 2026 then brought the Mid-size MPV & big-size MPV with the PHEV variant and electricity in 2027," he said, in his official statement received, Thursday, August 7.

As is known, to support national services and reach wider consumers, BAIC already has 12 official dealers spread across various strategic cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Medan, Surabaya, Denpasar, Samarinda, and Pekanbaru. By the end of 2025, BAIC targets network expansion to become 25 authorized dealers, covering all over Indonesia.
