Toyota Achieves Over 4,000 Sales in 8 Days at GIIAS, Here's Best-Selling Model

JAKARTA - PT Toyota Astra Motor recorded positive sales at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The figure reached 4,250 units ordered during the eight-day exhibition.

This was expressed by Ernando Demily, Marketing Director of PT TAM Jap. He expressed his gratitude, given the challenging market conditions, the presence of new entrants, and the public's continued trust in Toyota.

"We are still very grateful that, despite these challenging market conditions, sales orders at GIIAS reached 4,250 units over the eight days," he said when met at ICE BSD, Tangerang, some time ago.

He further explained that of the total sales orders mentioned above, the Toyota Zenix Hybrid was the primary contributor. This model contributed up to 25 percent of the total sales orders.

"The Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid contributed 25 percent to the total sales volume, while all electrified models contributed 34 percent, a 7 percent increase from last year.

Toyota brought a wealth of new innovations to GIIAS 2025, not only showcasing its entire exciting lineup but also showcasing the locally assembled New bZ4X.

Furthermore, the Japanese automotive giant also introduced other electric vehicles, the Urban Cruiser EV and the Crown FCEV.
