JAECOO At AIGIS 2025, Supports The Achievement Of National Net Zero Emission Targets With Superior Technology

JAKARTA - Despite being present in Indonesia in a matter of months, JAECOO, an automotive brand from China, also took part in focusing on achieving the national net zero emission target in 2060. One of the things that was done was to become the main partner in the implementation of the 2nd Annual Indonesia Green Industry Summit (AIGIS) in 2025.

As part of the AIGIS series, the 2025 National Green Industry Forum (FIH) was held in Bandung and managed to gather more than 300 key stakeholders from the government, industrial, and research institutions sectors.

In an official statement received on Saturday, May 3, this forum aims to accelerate the application of low-carbon technology, increase energy efficiency, and encourage green innovation throughout the national industrial value chain.

In the forum, the urgency of industrial transformation is emphasized, highlighting that green industry is no longer an option, but rather a must. To remain globally competitive, Indonesia must immediately shift to sustainable industrial practices.

Moreover, with the industrial sector contributing 34 percent of national greenhouse gas emissions and 41 percent of GDP, the transformation is certainly very important, not only for environmental sustainability, but also for the long-term resilience of the national economy.

JAECOO itself has now presented a car model and is equipped with advanced Super Hybrid System (SHS) technology.

JAECOO J7 is the first model of this brand from China, which offers a good combination in terms of a stylish, energetic, and environmentally friendly driving experience for modern urban consumers.

This is in line with the government's agenda of reducing carbon emissions and accelerating the energy transition. JAECOO's presence in the 2025 National Green Industry Forum also marks the first step of its involvement in the AIGIS 2025 series of programs, including the AIGIS Summit which will be held on August 20, 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center.

This involvement reflects JAECOO's long-term commitment to supporting the national green industry ecosystem through technological innovation and strategic collaboration.

Moreover, the technology brought to J7 SHS integrates three superior components that provide environmental performance as well as driving performance, including the Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, capable of achieving 98.5 percent EV mode efficiency, ensuring optimal use of power and reducing energy loss.
