JAKARTA - The Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association or Periclindo is an association formed in order to realize, develop, and become a strategic partner of the government in the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.
The association, which was founded in 2021, now has a number of members consisting of various members, such as ABC Lithium, Birubatt, Fast, Keeway, MAB, Motoriz, Neta, Seres, and Wuling.
However, there are a number of non-perilindo automotive brands that are also present at the 2025 Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) Periclindo including Hyundai.
Periclindo Chairman Moeldoko said his party was open to other possible brands such as Hyundai to join the association, which is a means of brand aspirations in building an electric car ecosystem in the country.
"Actually (Hyundai) has not become a member, but basically all brands have an interest in doing business in Indonesia, so they need an umbrella in the form of an association so that later there will be problems that must be fought for, that is part of our responsibility," said Moeldoko after a press conference ahead of the 2025 PEVS in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 22.

"So we continue to appeal to brands that have not joined Periclindo, it is time to join forces and trust the association will continue to fight for it," added Moeldoko.
Moeldoko also explained that there will be other new brands that will soon join Periclindo. Unfortunately, he has not been able to reveal further details.
"Not only that, there are several other brands that will enter as members of Periclindo," explained Moeldoko.
