VinFast Partners With Amarta, Will Build 22 Showrooms Until 2027

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from Vietnam, VinFast signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with one of the leading vehicle distributors in Indonesia, PT Arimbi Amartapura (Amarta).

This partnership was built with the aim of accelerating the expansion of its showroom network in the country. In addition, this step is an important milestone in VinFast's global strategy in presenting more electric vehicles for Indonesian consumers.

"This partnership allows us to fully leverage Amarta's expertise in the national market, building a strong foundation for VinFast to become a known name in electric mobility," said VinFast Asia CEO Pham Sanh Chau in his remarks in Setiabudi, Jakarta, Thursday, March 20.

In the agreement, the manufacturer will take advantage of Amarta's expertise in analyzing the market and running its business through its extensive network and experience in the industry for 25 years by establishing 22 new showrooms in the period 2025 to 2027.

The collaboration focuses on major cities such as Jabodetabek and Bandung, with 11 showrooms scheduled to open in 2025 and the first service expected to be inaugurated this month.

"By combining Amarta's local market insights with VinFast's superior product quality and competitive prices, we can provide extraordinary value for Indonesian customers and encourage green mobility and a sustainable future," added Amarta CEO, Angga Prawira Awang.

VinFast's showroom will later provide a comprehensive customer experience, ranging from product display, test drive area, to the presence of adequate after-sales service.

The facility not only expands VinFast's dealer network in Indonesia significantly, but is in line with the brand's global strategy to the dealership model.

Not only that, the services presented by VinFast and Amarta will provide charging facilities and are designed with modern aesthetics.

To date, the company has partnered with 14 dealers operating 21 stores in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali, and other main locations, offering various VinFast EVs, including the VF 3, VF 5, and VF e34 mini-e-SUV models.
