AC Schnitzer Provides Aggressive Kit Bodi For Mini Cooper EV, Here's What It Looks Like

JAKARTA - German tuning company AC Schnitzer presents a special touch of sporty nuances for Mini Cooper Electric which adds to the attractiveness of the model.

AC Schnitzer designed this car with several changes ranging from more aggressive exteriors to upgraded suspension devices, making the hatchback more reliable to cross corners.

Launching from InsideEVs, Wednesday, March 5, the exterior is now equipped with a front splitter mounted under the bumper and a small roof spoiler behind it.

The BMW and Mini car specialist Tuner said the presence of the device helped airflow and stability of cars when traveling at high speeds.

Not only that, another change to Cooper Electric is in springs that are tuned stiffer and lower to one inch on the front and back up to half an inch. The legs are equipped with 19-inch AC1 rims with 225 tires.

Moving to the inside, the car is equipped with an aluminum footrest with a touch of more sporty interior. Nonetheless, the company retains a round infotainment display equipped with unique OLED technology.

Some modified elements such as regulation of suspensions are more rigid and low, this can increase the range. Thus, this modified Cooper Electric by AC Schnitzer can reach a distance of 402 km according to the WLTP.

The Tuner also said the kit body is aggressive and some other fine-tuning is suitable for any Mini variant vehicle, ranging from Cooper E which is an entry-level type to John Cooper Works (JCW).

Unfortunately, the company based in the city of Aachen, Germany has not disclosed further prices for the kit. However, customers who are interested can order their components one by one.
