Jaecool Records Positive Sales At IIMS 2025, J7 SHS Becomes Primadona

JAKARTA Although only present in Indonesia, Jaecoo managed to make a brilliant achievement at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. In this prestigious automotive event, Jaecoo pocketed 300 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) for the J7 model, proving the appeal of this premium SUV in the Indonesian market.

Jaecoo's Head of Marketing, Evan Angganataka, revealed that the J7 Smart Hybrid System (SHS) variant is the most popular, with a contribution of up to 70 percent of the total bookings. Meanwhile, the conventional J7 variant and J8 also recorded fewer enthusiasts, although in less number.

"We see a very positive response, especially for the J7 SHS variant that dominates orders. This shows that consumers are increasingly interested in the hybrid technology we offer," said Evan when met at the Jakarta-Bali Super Hybrid Marathon event in Surabaya, Monday, February 24.

For unit delivery, Jaecoo ensures the process will take place in stages starting May 2025, ensuring every customer gets their vehicle on schedule.

As additional information, Jaecool J7 FWD is priced at IDR 499 million, J7 AWD IDR 549 million and for the highest version, J7 SHS is priced at IDR 599 million.
