JAKARTA - Off-road vehicle adventures are a challenge and bring satisfaction to their lovers because they can drive vehicles in different track areas, such as soil, muddy, sandy, rocks, and pass through puddles of water.

Offroad racer from Indonesia, Julian Johan gave a number of tips on safe driving when crossing extreme terrain such as installing seat belts such as doing driving activities in general.

"Of course, before driving, pay attention to always using seatbelt for better safety," said the man who is familiarly called Jeje when giving an explanation at the 2025 Indonesian Raptor Adventure event in Sentul, Bogor, Saturday, February 22.

Jeje also emphasized that the position of the hand must be more relaxed so that it becomes responsive to driving the steering wheel. Then, he also emphasized that the position of driving must be upright in order to provide broad views when driving off the road.

He also explained that the position of the hand at the wheel also needs to be considered, namely having to hold the steering wheel with both hands with the position of the hand at 10 and 2 o'clock. This allows the hands to respond quickly when doing off-road arenas.

Then, when off-road you can't use just one hand and the position of the hand must be at 10 and 2. This makes your hands more responsive because when off-road the steering wheel will go right and left when there is a hole, so this position is very optimal and safer," explained Jeje.

Moreover, Jeje also said that the position of the thumb was not paved or hugged the steering wheel in order to avoid injury when doing off-road.
