JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has announced its first ownership program for electric cars in Indonesia, e:N1. This electric HR-V-style car is offered with a subscription program.

Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT HPM, Yusak Billy said that not only providing the products, the company also plans to provide supporting infrastructure such as charging and after sales services in six major cities, namely Jakarta, Cikarang, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, and Samarinda.

"For now, there are only six big cities that we will choose for infrastructure availability and we will continue at our various dealers," said Billy in the middle of the IIMS event.

Nevertheless, Billy said that his party would make other breakthroughs by gradually expanding them to various other regions in Indonesia.

"But we provide the infrastructure gradually," added Billy.

Meanwhile, the single agent holding Honda brand (ATPM) in Indonesia also announced that he would provide a maximum Honda e:N1 of up to 300 units.

Billy added that his party has only received 160 units of this car allocation and will begin to be distributed to customers who have subscribed starting next April.

"This year we have only received 160 units e:N1 allocations and starting from April it is still very limited," explained Billy.

Honda provides a 'Honda Electrified Experience' package for ownership e:N1 with a subscription fee of IDR 22 million/month for 5 years with full ownership options.

In this offer, the company only provides e:N1 with 300 units which makes it an exclusive choice for consumers who want to support Honda's electrification steps.
