JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) officially launched its first electric car in Indonesia, named e:N1 through the recent Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025.
Different from other brands that decided to sell electric vehicles, HPM implemented a unique approach by launching a subscription package for ownership e:N1 in Indonesia.
The manufacturer provides a 'Honda Electrified Experience' package for e:N1 ownership with a subscription fee of IDR 22 million/month for 5 years with full ownership options. The company also has its own reasons for deciding this.
Sales and Marketing & Aftersales Director of PT HPM, Yusak Billy said that his party had conducted an in-depth study so that they decided to offer a rental system for this model, one of which was about the resale value.
"So there are some people who don't want the BEV because they are worried that the resale value can go down. Moreover, what we study, the resale value EV can go down to 40 percent," Billy said when answering media questions in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday, February 14.

To support charging convenience, Honda e: N1 is equipped with DC Fast Charging, which allows the battery to charge from 30-80 percent in just 50 minutes.
