BYD Will Launch New Electric Car On IIMS, What Is It?

JAKARTA - BYD will certainly add to the ranks of its new cars in the country, which will be launched at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) which will take place this February.

This assurance was expressed by the Head of Marketing PR & Government Relations BYD Indonesia Luther Panjaitan, he said BYD would carry car lines with two brands at once including Denza.

"We also want to launch a new product for the Indonesian market, and it fits into market conditions," he said, during a presentation at the IIMS press conference, Tuesday, February 4 in Jakarta.

Unfortunately, he did not specify what product would be launched, but there is some speculation circulating that the model to be launched is targeting the market at affordable prices.

The model in question is BYD Dolphin Mini, where the car is already registered in Intellectual Property Database data with registration number IDM001239589. The protection date ends on December 22, 2033.

In addition, another model that is rumored to be the Sealion 7 whose information has been listed on the official website of the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia, Directorate General of Intellectual Property through industrial design news.

In the stated statement, the applicant from the BYD Sealion 7 electric car is BYD Company Limited and is registered with the application number DI A002020407729.

Of course, it is worth waiting for what other model BYD will launch to enliven the Indonesian automotive market.
