Honda Culture Indonesia in Makassar was Succeeded, Enlivened by 27 Communities and Modified Cars

JAKARTA – PT Honda Prospect Motor once again presents the Honda Culture Indonesia event, this time greeting Honda lovers in Makassar City on November 16. This event continues the series of celebrations that highlight Honda's role in the national and global automotive industry, as well as being a place for the community to show their creativity in modifying cars.

President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, Shugo Watanabe, emphasized that Honda is not just a mobility company, but an important part of everyday life.

"The Honda community around the world has unique characteristics that help shape Honda's culture. We are proud to celebrate this culture in Indonesia and hope that this event will strengthen the togetherness of those who have the same passion and love for Honda," he said in an official statement received on Monday, November 18.

The event in Makassar was enlivened by 27 Honda communities from various generations and models, as well as the general public. One of the main attractions is the Honda Modification Competition, which was attended by 50 Honda car finalists in 11 different categories. The categories include The Top Engine, The Top Wheels, to Honda Perfection Built, with independent judges from the National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA). The winners are entitled to take home attractive prizes in the form of cash and exclusive accessories.

This event also became a stage for various modification styles, from Stance which emphasizes low suspension and wide rims, to Racing-inspired which emphasizes performance with aerodynamic body kits and engine modifications. OEM Look and Restomod styles also colored the competition, proving that Honda cars are the perfect canvas for automotive enthusiasts to express their creativity.
