Prove His Resilience, Mitsubishi XForce Achieves 5 Star Of ASEAN NCAP Safety

JAKARTA - The new model from Mitsubish Motors, namely XForce, has won five stars in the ASEAN NCAP 2024, with a comprehensive assessment for the safety performance of new vehicles in the ASEAN region.

"Mitsubishi XForce as one of the global models of Mitsubishi Motors produced in Indonesia, once again proves its reliability from performance to safety with the achievement of 5-stars rating from ASEAN NCAP," said President Director of PT MMKSI Atsushi Kurita, in an official statement received, Tuesday, August 6.

This one car uses a high-power RISE body that absorbs energy and minimizes cabin deformation in the event of an accident, as well as six airbag SRS to ensure collision safety performance, and the tested variant is Exceed.

Xforce also adopts advanced safety features, such as Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Automatic High Beam (AHB) systems to provide high preventive safety performance.

As is known, this one car was launched for the first time in Indonesia in 2023. XForce is a compact SUV with five seats built with the concept of 'Best-suited promise for an excited life' and developed with a focus on how the compact SUV is used in the ASEAN region.

XForce displays an authentic SUV style full of style but sturdy, as well as comfort and practicality, such as a wide cabin and multipurpose storage space, all balanced in a compact body size and maneuverable. In addition, this technology provides safe and reliable road handling in various weather or road conditions, including rough roads or floods.

After its sales launch in Indonesia in November 2023, Xforce was released on other ASEAN markets, including Vietnam in March, and the Philippines in July. XForce is also available in Latin America and Africa, with plans to expand its launch in stages to South Asia and the Middle East.
