Hyundai Will Release Four Latest Models In India In 2024

JAKARTA - Towards the end of 2023, Hyundai is seriously preparing to present several new models for 2024. In India, for example, Hyundai is trying to bring changes to some of its vehicles.

Reporting from Autocar India, Tuesday, December 19, one of the updated models is Creta. This SUV will be available in the form of a refresher both on the outside and inside. Moreover, the car was caught on camera several times being tested in India.

The changes presented in this model are redesigned grips, separate projector headlights and vertically positioned, as well as the LED Daytime Running Horizontal lights. The interior will get minimal changes with the presence of the ADAS feature, 360-degree camera, and the latest 10.25-inch infotainment system.

In addition, a 1.5 liter turbo gasoline engine powered by 160 hp will join the ranks plus a 1.5 liter diesel option, both combined with manual or automatic gearbox. It is likely that Hyundai will present the N Line variant which will be presented in April-May 2024.

Accompanying Creta, the manufacturer intends to present a facelift from Alcazar, a three-line SUV that will get fundamental exterior and interior updates. It is likely that the model will get the same changes as Creta.

However, these changes do not apply to the engine. The Alcazar will still be equipped with a 1.5 liter turbo gasoline engine measuring 160 dk and a 1.5 liter diesel with 115 dk.

Hyundaiani facelift is likely to be presented on the Indian continent's children covering all or parts of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, as well as the Maldives after its global launch last November. Changes to the exterior are relatively minimal with redesigned grips, altered LED DRL lights, and bumpers.

The dashboard in the interior is also redesigned with the infotainment screen which is now placed in the latest curved panel. The manufacturer will also maintain 2.0 liter and 2.0 liter diesel gasoline like the previous version.

The last one is the Creta EV model, a vehicle that the Indian market has been waiting for. Based on its best-selling product, Creta, Hyundai ensures that its electricity version will look different compared to ICE.

It is estimated that this electric SUV will be equipped with a 45 kWh battery package supplied from LG Chem, as a supplier of Hyundai Global. The electric motor will share with Kona Electric, which means the model will generate 138 dk of power and 255 Nm of torque and will compete with vehicles such as the MG ZS EV.
