PSM Makassar Vs Barito Putera: Laskar Antasari Wins First This Season

JAKARTA - Barito Putera finally won his first win in the 2021 Indonesian League 1 competition after beating PSM Makassar in the fifth week at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java, Monday with a score of 2-0.

According to Antara, during the first 15 minutes, Laskar Antasari, who was managed by Djadjang Nurdjaman, looked aggressively pounding on the PSM defense, but could not find the opponent's goal.

Entering the 16th minute, Juku Eja started to build an attack on Barito Putera's goal which created a number of opportunities, including Wiljan Pluim with his shot that narrowly missed the goal post in the 28th minute after being supplied by a pass by Ilham Udin.

In the 36th minute, Pluim had another chance after darting unmarked in front of the opponent's goal, but still failed to score.

The chaos in Barito Putera's goal mouth also occurred in the final minutes of the first half, but the score of the glasses has not been resolved.

Entering the second half, Barito Putera immediately appeared aggressive with his attack which was able to break the PSM goal in the 47th minute.

Bagas Kaffa's cross was finished nicely through Aleksandar Rakic's header which put Barito Putera 1-0 up.

Barito Putera again added to the advantage with Rafael Oliveira's plesing kick which goalkeeper Syaiful Syamsuddin couldn't suppress in the 59th minute, increasing the score to 2-0.

The atmosphere of the match became hotter so that an incident occurred between players, namely Rafael and M Arfan which resulted in both being given a yellow card in the 70th minute.

Almost at the same time, tension also occurred on the bench which made one assistant coach Barito Putera and PSM coach Milomir Seslija also given a yellow card by the referee.

After winning by two goals, Barito Putera immediately played safe by closing the defense and rarely taking the initiative to attack the opponent's goal.

While PSM Makassar continued to try to dismantle the opponent's defense and get a number of opportunities even though they were unable to produce goals until the second half was over.

In the previous four matches, it is known that Barito Putera has not won once, with one draw and three defeats so that this victory is his first win in Liga 1 2021.
