Prepare 3 Internal TC Matches For The U-18 National Team, Shin Tae-yong Will Monitor Players' Technique, Physical And Mental

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong prepared three internal matches in the third stage of the U-18 national team's training camp (TC) in Jakarta on September 13-18. This is part of preparations for the 2023 U-20 World Cup.

"I want to know and see the ability of the players," said Shin, quoted by Antara from the PSSI website, Tuesday, September 14.

There are several aspects that the South Korean tactician will monitor. Among others; technical, physical and mental players.

"They must not give up easily. I will see how high their will is because we prepare the team to play in the World Cup, not the league," said Shin.

The South Korean national team coach at the 2018 World Cup also asked players to regulate food intake, nutrition to strengthen their bodies.

The third stage of the U-18 national team TC was attended by 36 players. Previously, PSSI had held the first stage of TC on 29 August-3 September 2021 with 36 players and the second stage on 6-10 September 2021 which was also reinforced by 36 players.

The players involved in the third TC are ready to show their best abilities.

One of the players, Wahyu Agung Drajat Mulyono, agreed with Shin about mental strength.

"I want to learn to always be enthusiastic and never give up," said Wahyu Agung, a player who has participated in the Garuda Select program.
