All England 2026: 8 Indonesian Representatives Appear on the Second Day

Alwi Farhan will meet Ayush Shetty in the first round of the 2026 All England (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA - Eight Indonesian representatives will compete on the second day of the 2026 All England, including the two men's singles Jonatan Christie and Alwi Farhan.

The second round of the world's oldest badminton tournament, which takes place at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The match will start at 10.00 local time or 17.00 WIB.

Jonatan and Alwi, who are the backbone of the Indonesian men's singles in this tournament, will start their journey by facing Asian shuttlers. Jonatan meets Jia Heng Jason Teh from Singapore and and Alwi meets Ayush Shetty from India.

From the men's doubles sector, Indonesia still has hope to add a second round ticket to the tournament through the pair of Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and Rahmat Hidayat/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

Sabar/Reza as the seventh seed will face the pair of Christo Popov/Toma Junior Popov from France and Rahmat/Rian against Liu Kuang Heng/Yang Po Han from China Taipei.

The women's doubles also still have two pairs that have not played, namely Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari and Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Febriana/Meilysa started their journey by meeting the Polina Buhrova/Yevheniia Kantemyr pair from Ukraine, while Amallia/Fadia greeted the Chinese Taipei pair, Hsu Ya Ching/Sung Yu Hsuan.

The other two Indonesian representatives who fought today came from mixed doubles. They are the pair of Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nataniel Pasaribu and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.

Jafar/Felisha got the first round test by playing against Gao Jia Xuan/Wu Meng Ying from China and Amri/Nita met Marvin Seidel/Thuc Phuong Nguyen from Germany.

Indonesia has secured three tickets to the second round from the six representatives who fought on the first day of the tournament. They are Putri Kusuma Wardani, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.
