JAKARTA - A number of provincial managers (Pengprov) of the kickboxing sports branch which are included in the national brotherhood (Silatnas) have expressed their readiness to hold an extraordinary national deliberation (Munaslub) as a step to save the organization. This statement came in response to the organization's tension ahead of the national deliberation (Munas), especially regarding the committee and the team of candidates for the general chairman who were considered to have violated the Articles of Association and House of Tangents (AD/ART) of the Indonesian Kickboxing Central Management (PP KBI). Albertus Fenanlampir as the spokesperson for Silatnas and also the General Chairman of the KBI Province of Maluku and the Head of the Achievement Development Division of the PP KBI said that the Munaslub would be the last resort if their demands were not heeded. "There are many things we will discuss at the Munaslub. At least include the issue of achievement development and various events that are held, concerning the organization, and financial issues," he said in a press conference via zoom on Saturday. Previously, as many as 22 provincial managers held a national brotherhood at the beginning of this week and produced four points of agreement. One of them is urging the revocation or revision of the decision letter (SK) Number 05/PP KBI/I/2026 regarding the composition of the Munas committee. The national brotherhood forum then gave a 3x24-hour time to the General Chairman of the PP KBI Ngatino to take action in accordance with the demands. However, until the deadline, the letter sent was not indahkan at all.

Ngatino then held a separate press conference and stated that the national gathering forum was illegal because it could not make decisions like official forums - in this case, national deliberations, working meetings, and plenary meetings.

Ismail as the Secretary of Silatnas said that basically what was conveyed by the General Chairman was a reflection of fear as well as an effort to steer opinion because he saw that Silatnas now had 2/3 power of provincial managers.

"We can hold the Munaslub, there is nothing wrong and please let them do the Munas please their way, but we will follow the legal procedures. If this reaches a dead end, we still have Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C," he said.

In addition to calling the national gathering forum illegal, Ngatino also emphasized in the press conference that the national deliberation committee formed by the PP KBI was in accordance with the mechanism in the national working meeting (Rakernas) held on December 1, 2025.

He said that the National Congress clearly mandated and entrusted the formation of the National Congress committee and the committee for the screening of prospective general chairmen. So, they didn't violate anything and carried out everything according to the AD/ART mandate.

Ismail denied the claim and said that the National Congress was very chaotic because the Board of Trustees, the Honorary Council, and the minutes that should bind the forum were not there. This, he said, is clearly contrary to the AD/ART of the organization.

"Which AD/ART do they use? In the screening process, the registration of prospective candidates, and the screening committee are not in accordance with the AD/ART because there must be at least a plenary meeting, the formation of the committee, who the committee must be clear. That's the problem," he said.

Currently, a total of 27 provinces have joined the national forum group. Some of them previously gave support to the candidate for chairman of the general election submitted by Ngatino, but now they have withdrawn their support.

Albertus reminded that the provincial managers who participated in Silatnas were the owners of the voting rights (voters) and the number had met the requirements to hold an extraordinary national deliberation without having to wait for the signal.

"If, for example, we are denied as illegal people, then we will put our position as holders of voters or as holders of valid votes and don't forget that we are positioned in one room, 2/3 of us have enough quorum," he said.

He also emphasized that Silatnas was a bottom-up movement from all the Provincial General Chairmen who felt called to fix the technical and non-technical issues that arose since the 2024 PON in Aceh and North Sumatra and have not been resolved to this day.

Albert said that the many unresolved problems in the organization made them gather with the aim of being able to bring the KBI PP back to running according to its rules again.

"We are interested in addressing this issue and referring back to the stakeholders in the PP KBI so that we do not end up being divided until we are separated," he explained.

He added that the decision at Silatnas was actually very clear, but they were still open to the possibility of building communication with the PP KBI if there was a good intention to heed their demands.

"So, even though it's over, but I think we're flexible. As long as or as far as the good intentions to reposition this organization as it should be, in our opinion there is no problem. It's just that the problem is when it's hit and hit," he said.
