Maintain the Winning Trend, Pelita Jaya Bent Over Satya Wacana 85-45

JAKARTA - Pelita Jaya Basketball Jakarta continued their winning streak in the 2026 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) after defeating Satya Wacana Salatiga with a score of 85-45 at GMSB Kuningan, Jakarta, Saturday, January 25.

Antara reported the positive result made Pelita Jaya currently in sixth place in the 2026 IBL standings with six points from the three matches they won in a row.

In the match, Pelita Jaya (PJ) appeared dominant from the start of the match. In fact, in the opening eight minutes, they were 21-4 ahead and closed the first quarter with a lead of 27-12.

PJ almost didn't give Satya Wacana any chance to grow and eventually came out as the winner. In the third quarter, for example, PJ only conceded six points from the opponent.

Amorie Archibald was the top scorer for PJ in the match with 14 points, plus four rebounds and six assists during a playing time of about 20 minutes.

Besides Archibald, Darious Moten and Vincent Kosasih also performed well with 12 points each.

Meanwhile, from the Satya Wacana camp, Serhii Pavlov was the best with a double-double of 11 points, 11 rebounds and one assist.

Besides Pavlov, there were no more Satya Wacana players who scored double digits.

In the IBL 2026 standings, Satya Wacana is still in eighth place (five points) with a bad track record of always losing the five matches they have passed.

Furthermore, Sunday (25/1), PJ will meet the guest team of the Solo Knights at GMSB Kuningan, Jakarta.

Satya Wacana will only play their next match on Friday (30/1) against Kesatria Bengawan Solo, who this time are the hosts, in Solo, Central Java.
