Indonesia Masters 2026: Adnan/Indah meet as second seeds

Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil will face the second seed in the 2026 Indonesia Masters quarterfinal (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA - The mixed doubles team of Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil managed to qualify for the 2026 Indonesia Masters 4th round and will be sure to face the second seeded team from China, Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin.

Adnan/Indah extended their journey in the BWF Super 500 level tournament after fighting three games 21-13, 20-22, and 21-19 against the South Korean pair, Lee Jongmin/Lee Yu-lim, on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

"Earlier, when we were ahead, we were too hasty. So we made a lot of mistakes ourselves, that's the most (homework)," said Adnan.

Adnan/Indah should have secured the ticket in the two-game match after taking a big lead in the second game. However, they made many mistakes that resulted in the match having to be decided in the third game.

In the last game, their fight to qualify was really not easy. The drama of chasing points made them lock the ticket with only two points ahead.

"The game against them was pretty neat. They rarely make their own mistakes. So, yes, again, there are many points that we die ourselves," said Adnan.

Apart from Adnan/Indah, the quarterfinal tickets were also obtained by the mixed doubles team of Jafar Hidayatullah Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu. They qualified after stopping their compatriots Dejan Ferdinansyah/Bernadine Anindya Wardana with a score of 10-21, 21-11, and 21-10.

In the second round, Jafar/Felisha will meet the fourth seeded French pair, Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue, who qualified after defeating their compatriots Julien Maio/Lea Palermo.

The tickets for the quarterfinal round were also secured by the men's doubles team of Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and the women's doubles team of Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
